how to handle the appication events and session events in activeVFP?

Can i bind the asp's application events and session events to activeVFP or how to handle the appication events and session events in activeVFP?
i'm going to make a application similarly msn ,i want to log everyone who is online and who is offine .
how should can i do ?

I'm not sure if you can use binding (probably only with vfp 9) or if you'd want to. The typical way I think is with a login and keeping track of a users activities, maybe with the session object. If there has been no activity for an amount of time you specify, then they are logged out otherwise they're still considered logged in. i think it's as simple as that...

when logged,i record the user name to session("username"), can i get all session("username") in application scope?
so i would known the online users.

I believe session is only per client so you would need a custom fox user table and update it and keep track of individual sessions. So use a centralized USER table in conjunction with the session object.
