First off.. Is there a beginners guide? i searched and found nothing, if there is, can someone point me towards it.

I have a vfp project consisting of a prg that opens some tables then calls a form.. Nothing fancy at all.

Reading the documentation makes me think that I need to compile my project to a dll. This I have done but now.. what do I do with it? I have installed IIS etc.

Clearly I am missing an important point but I am not sure what!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The idea is that you install the demo, run it, and do likewise - just code the same way as the demo is done. No compilation necessary, it's just like PHP. Look at one of the demo AVFPs, put VFP in a text file in a similar manner, run it in a browser.

Or put VFP in a Controller PRG to separate your application code from the Visual part (the AVFP file). This is very similar to RoR or ASP.Net MVC. No need to compile for this either. All that stuff is done automatically.

Check out the Documentation page for Documentation.
