An AVFP file is, basically, just a normal HTML file with VFP code embeeded. If you want to apply CSS styles to your AVFP page you do it as yo would do with a regular HTML file:

a) Using a STYLE tag:
<style>
.myStyle {
  color: black;
  margin: 20px;
}
</style>
b) Loading an external CSS file:
 <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="yourfile.css">
c) Using element's STYLE attribute:
<span style="text-align: center;">This is a centered text</span>
